Jacob Edmund-Acquah joined BCP Worldwide in 2010 as an Associate to support the EDN program and the firm’s other activities. Jacob brings to the company more than 13 years of multi-faceted experience in banking, financial management, project management, auditing, and business analysis.
Jacob previously
doubled as a chief financial officer and project manager for a software
development and sales company in Accra, Ghana. As a member of the executive
team, he was responsible for overseeing the company’s financial management
and planning strategy, as well as its marketing and research activities. Jacob later
moved into the financial services sector in Ghana for 4 years, working for
Ghana Commercial Bank Ltd and Societe Generale Bank (Ghana) Ltd before coming to
the United States.
Prior to
joining BCP, Jacob worked as a senior business analyst and a teaching assistant
at the University of Massachusetts for close to 2 years. Through these experiences, Jacob has gained considerable skill in credit, risk management, banking
operations, finance, and auditing.
Jacob is a Chartered (Professional) Banker, granted by the Institute of Chartered Bankers in Ghana. He received his MBA from the University of Massachusetts and B.Sc. from the University of Ghana-Accra.
